Piloting AI-led job redesign across departments: Pontiac Land Group x Heicoders Academy

Heicoders Academy delivered a private, customised three-day run of GA100: Generative AI for Automation and Productivity for a pilot cohort of 20 participants drawn from several departments across three entities within Pontiac Land Group, built around each department's own pain points to support the Group's job redesign initiative.

The challenge: From AI awareness to structured job redesign

Pontiac Land Group is a real estate and hospitality group, and its HR team is leading an AI workforce transformation and job redesign initiative across the organisation. The Group already had strong AI awareness through its enterprise rollout of Google Gemini, but individual use of an AI assistant is not the same as redesigning how work gets done. Leaders recognised that the next step was to equip staff to apply AI, and increasingly agentic automation, to the reports, correspondence, and coordination work that fills their week.

Because the initiative spans multiple departments, the training also had to work for a mixed cohort drawn from different functions and three different entities within the Group, while staying within the data security boundaries of the Group’s existing enterprise tools. A generic, off-the-shelf AI course would not have connected to the specific pain points of each department, nor helped the HR team build the internal evidence it needed to scale the initiative.

What Pontiac Land Group wanted was a focused pilot cohort that moved beyond awareness into hands-on building, one that let participants work on their own departmental challenges and gave the HR team real, internal case studies to build on.

Why Heicoders Academy: A proven path from pilot to rollout

Heicoders Academy offered Pontiac Land Group a proven path from training to organisation wide adoption, having seen a similar three-day GA100 engagement with Changi Airport Group’s senior management grow into a broader, multi-batch rollout. From the first discovery conversations, the Heicoders team focused on tailoring the programme to the Group’s job redesign goals rather than delivering a standard syllabus. Google Gemini was used as the base platform for prompt engineering and productivity exercises, keeping learning within the Group’s existing enterprise environment, and the programme was scheduled across separate training days to minimise disruption to daily operations.

The engagement was also shaped closely around the participants themselves. Ahead of and between sessions, participants brainstormed AI workforce transformation case studies and listed the pain points from their own departments, which the Heicoders instructor reviewed and brought into the training so that exercises reflected real work across the Group. As an SSG-accredited programme built around real tools and real business scenarios, GA100 gave the cohort a credible, structured path from foundational prompting through to building and deploying agentic workflows, with responsible AI woven throughout.

Heicoders Academy is Singapore's leading AI-First Skills Accelerator, with over 30,000 learners trained, 4,000+ five-star reviews, and 300+ corporate clients including Changi Airport Group, Marriott International, and Temasek Trust.

The solution: A private, customised GA100 run for Pontiac Land Group

Heicoders Academy delivered a private, customised run of GA100 exclusively for Pontiac Land Group. The programme ran across three full training days on 11, 16 and 24 September 2026, delivered in-person in Singapore for a pilot cohort of 20 participants drawn from several departments across three entities within the Group. Exercises were grounded in scenarios from HR, property and hospitality operations, and support functions, including drafting HR policy communications, structuring job redesign proposals, summarising departmental reports, and automating candidate outreach, report generation, and roster and scheduling coordination. The curriculum progressed deliberately across five core areas:

  • Generative AI Basics and Prompt Engineering: How Large Language Models work, key AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini), advanced prompting techniques including chain-of-thought and few-shot prompting, and AI-powered media creation.
  • Advanced Workflows and AI Agents: Hands-on lab using Manus AI to build and deploy multi-step automated workflows across 9 real-world business scenarios, including email automation, data analysis, wide research, spreadsheet automation, and slide generation.
  • Agentic Workflow Automation with n8n: Building powerful automated pipelines by connecting multiple applications and services to automate common business processes such as data extraction and report generation.
  • RAG for Business Data: Learning how to combine AI with the organisation’s internal data to create reliable, factual knowledge bases and secure private AI systems.
  • MCP and Managing AI Risk: Applying frameworks for safe, compliant, and ethical AI use in an enterprise setting, culminating in a hands-on Capstone Project where participants applied their full suite of newly acquired skills.

Around the curriculum, Heicoders Academy provided end-to-end wraparound support, from enrolment and registration onto its Student eLearn portal, to handling the government funding administration and corporate billing across the Group’s three entities, coordinating venue logistics, and supporting eligible participants through the WSQ assessment component. This allowed Pontiac Land Group to focus entirely on the learning experience while the operational details were managed for them.

Results: A pilot cohort trained and engaged

The engagement brought together a full pilot cohort of 20 participants for the complete three-day programme, giving several departments across the Group a shared, hands-on grounding in applied and agentic AI. Throughout the run, participants worked directly with the tools on their own departmental pain points, building and deploying workflows rather than simply observing demonstrations.

Engagement across the cohort was strong, with participants actively contributing their own case studies and challenges between sessions. By the end of the programme, participants had moved from individual AI use to actively applying AI and automation to real departmental work, giving the HR team a clearer view of where AI can reshape roles and a set of internal examples to support the wider job redesign initiative.

What's next: Scaling job redesign across the group

With a pilot cohort now trained, the foundation is in place for Pontiac Land Group to extend its job redesign initiative to more departments. Heicoders Academy looks forward to supporting the Group on that journey, whether through further cohorts, deeper department-specific automation, or continued advisory support as AI is embedded into everyday work.

The Pontiac Land Group run reflects how Heicoders Academy partners with organisations on AI transformation: starting from the team’s real operational pain points, keeping the learning practical and hands-on, and pairing it with the responsible AI practices that enterprise environments require.
